Passavant’s Duck Race for Lifeline, held each summer at Nichols Park, raises funds to purchase Lifeline units and to provide service for those persons unable to afford the Lifeline service.
Participants purchase a yellow, rubber duck for $5 each. The ducks are launched from the Passavant “Duck Truck” into the water at Nichols Park. The first twenty ducks to cross the finish line win prizes. First prize is $1,000.
