The new vehicle, a red 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, was purchased for the Passavant paramedics with proceeds from last year’s Auxiliary Bazaar and future proceeds from the Bazaar in 2014 and 2015. In addition to the vehicle, the gift also includes the purchase of vehicle accessories, such as warning lights and siren. Cost of the fully-equipped vehicle is approximately $95,000.
Passavant’s paramedic program serves a five county area and is based in the Emergency Department at Passavant.
