Passavant Area Hospital’s Employee of the Month is Krystle Walz. Krystle is a supervisor in the Food Services department. She’s been employed at Passavant 14 years.
Her nomination from an appreciative co-worker read, “I have never had a time when I asked for assistance that Krystle has turned me down. She is always willing to help, no matter how big or small the request. She always has a smile on her face and I know I can count on her. She truly exemplifies what a great employee should be.”
Krystle is part of the supervisory team in Food Service. “I’m in charge of arranging and setting up catering for meetings and other events, supervising employees in the kitchen, Ground Central, and Garden View Café, and other “behind the scene” duties in the department,” she said. “This place has been my home away from home for the past 14 years. It has always provided me with support in every way, from an employee to a patient. I’m proud to be part of the Passavant team.”
Krystle and her husband, Denver, reside in Jacksonville. They are the parents of three children.
The Employee of the Month at Passavant receives eight hours off with pay, an Employee of the Month plaque, a close parking space for one month, gift cards for the Cafeteria and Gift Shop, a movie gift card, pen and pencil set, picnic blanket, flashlight/tool kit, Mason jar cup, umbrella, small cooler, lunch sack, drawstring tote, water bottle, notepad, flashlight key ring, coffee mug, and cup.
