Passavant Offers Electronic Visits for Patients and Families
Donald Hawk recently visited with his family via video chat technology from his patient room at Passavant Area Hospital. Passavant has been providing the necessary technology to allow patients to video chat with friends and family members amid the hospital’s no-visitor policy implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“As a nurse and [Hawk’s] family member, this is very important for the wellbeing of the patient,” said Brenda Hawk, Donald’s daughter-in-law, “and it’s important for the family to be able to see how their loved one is progressing.”
