Health Partnerships

At Passavant Area Hospital, we’re committed to improving the health of the communities we serve.  As part of that commitment, we partner with other non-profit health organizations to bring education, screenings and other vital health resources to our service area.

Our partnerships include:

American Heart Association

The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. The AHA’s mission is to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent while reducing deaths from cardiovascular disease and stroke by 20 percent by the year 2020 through education, training, research and advocacy. Central Illinois Community Blood Center

The Central Illinois Community Blood Center provides blood, blood products and services to sixteen area hospitals, including Passavant. Nurses from the Blood Center are at Passavant on the first and second Monday of each month from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for blood donations. New donors are always welcome and all blood types are needed. For additional information, visit the Blood Center’s website, or call the Blood Center at 217-753-1530.

Gift of Hope
