Surgical procedures offered by Passavant Surgical Associates include advanced laparoscopy; minimally-invasive surgery; trauma/critical care; endoscopy, colorectal, breast, and pediatric surgery; and other general surgery procedures.

Physician Profile
 John W. Roth, M.D., arned his medical doctor degree in 1995 from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Dr. Roth served his general surgery residency at the Marshall University Department of Surgery in Huntington, West Virginia. Dr. Roth was employed by General Surgery Associates in Moline, Illinois, prior to coming to Passavant. He is board certified and is a member of the Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Roth has special interests in advanced laparoscopy, minimally-invasive surgery, bariatric surgery, trauma/critical care, endoscopy, and colorectal, breast, and pediatric surgery.
Dr. Roth and his wife, Kate, are the parents of three children.
 Charles Sheaff, M.D., earned his medical doctor degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. He served his general surgery residency at the University of Illinois Hospital, also in Chicago. Prior to joining Passavant Surgical Associates, Dr. Sheaff was at Magnolia Hospital in Magnolia, Arkansas. Dr. Sheaff has served as an assistant professor of surgery at Rush Medical Center and at the University of Illinois School of Medicine, Chicago. He is board certified and is a member of the Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Sheaff has special interests in venous surgery (varicose veins), endocrine surgery, and breast surgery.
Dr. Sheaff and his wife, Lynne, are the parents of three children. His hobbies include tournament bridge, golf, woodworking, and flying.
