Duck Race for Lifeline

Duck Race for Lifeline

Passavant's Duck Race for Lifeline, held each summer at Nichols Park, raises funds to purchase Lifeline units and to provide service for those persons unable to afford the Lifeline service.

Participants purchase a yellow, rubber duck for $5 each. The ducks are launched from the Passavant "Duck Truck" into the water at Nichols Park. The first twenty ducks to cross the finish line win prizes. First prize is $1,000.

Ducks will be available for purchase in beginning in early May. Watch here for more details.

The 2009 Race is Sunday, June 28. Race time is 2 p.m. Pre-race events, including food and children's activities, begin at 1 p.m.
